Good News Bearers
Welcome to the 2007-2008 Good News Bearers program! Its purpose is to provide fun and faith-growing experiences for pre-confirmation age youth that they will want to attend and bring their friends to. Includes a retreat at Good Earth Village.
The time frame for the GNB program this year is as follows:
| 5:15-6:00pm Choir for 5th-9th graders |
| 5:30-6:15pm Supper and games |
| 6:30-7:30pm Good News Bearers! (meets in the CHAPEL!) |
Information about schedule changes or other announcements will be included in notes sent home with your child. Please be sure to ask them about the activities that took place and any notes that are sent home! This will ensure that everyone is kept up to speed on any new information that comes your way. It is also important to discuss the events with your children afterward to help reinforce what they've learned!
Parent volunteers are also needed to help out each week. Responsibilities include attending all lesson nights, and leading and discussing Bible stories! Most Bible stories are going to be discussed through short plays, fun movies and/or games. Mandy will prepare and lead the curriculum, volunteers are mostly needed to help facilitate and to be great role models for the 5th and 6th graders. Please contact Mandy if you can help.
